Hello - another find from my step grandmother's china closet. Unfortunately, the handle has come apart from the glass but I would still like to try and find out what it is and who may have made it? I have only seen something called a purple ground glass that came with a matching saucer, this may have had one but I don't remember. The gold on the outside is glued or pressed onto the glass and the inside has been painted in gold to match the lines of the outside. I do believe it has come from Europe and sometime around the late 20's or early 30's - or maybe earlier? I know she did like nice things and may have traveled to Europe during this time on her honeymoon, picking up some collectable glass as she went. Any information or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
