My mother gave me these and said her older brother gave them to her a long time ago. He worked in Illinois at a glass factory. I only want to know if they are marbles that are un finished or some other glass object.
I would also like to know whatever else I can find out. Thank you for the help.

Hand blown glass marbles I agree with vansky , the ends were either not snapped off when glass was hot and were kept to melt and re make or polish off the ends
