Actually asking for help identifying this spoon. I find the rings in the handle rather unique and can not find any similar pieces on the net anywhere. From Swedish ancestors, I believe. Seems to depict a laplander on the handle with crown above, and perhaps a reindeer in the cup. Stamp on reverse appears as three crowns, followed by "S" (sterling, right?) then perhaps a date stamp "FO" and the usual 830.
(Orange highlighter pen for size reference only)
Any help/information would be greatly appreciated!

Here ( http://www.925-1000.com/Fsweden_Date_Code.html ) I saw that the three crowns indicate Sweden and the FO might be a date stamp - but no FO is listed, only F or F2.
By your description I have a similar spoon. Similar drawings in the handle, only the one I have the feet of the person are move like small balls. I too have reindeer in the bowl of the spoon, yet the reindeer is in front of a building of some sort. The backside of the handle: " REMA ns". It appears to be quite old. And while I realize it is not exactly like your, I thought perhaps someone might recognize the description. I will open a page and post the picture of the spook soon.
SkyDoc, I did post a picture of my Spoon, similar to yours today, Friday 4/6/2012 @ 11:35am. It is similar in color, size, has a flatlander with cap & crown. The reindeer appears to be running in the woods. The markings on the back are (p)RIMA NS. Any information is greatly appreciated. Best!
