I have this large piece of pottery and I can't find any information about it or how to find out more information. This piece has this wonderful texture on the outside of the mug, and it appears to be like rope or threaded. The bottom is marked No. 2 but no other identifying marks. The mug or vase measures about 14" tall and 7" in diameter. I was told by my mother that it was Bennington but I don't think that is who made this piece. If anyone could please help me identify the maker of this piece and the age. Also, what is the style of pottery and age? Any addition information about this piece would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
