A 1917 is a large quantity minting, 196,429,785 coin for the Philidelphia mint (no mint mark) alone. Not including the Denver (D) or San Francisco (S).
So in my opinion, the value of this will probably be entirely based on the off-strike and the value of off-strike item is determined by the % off center. In my opinion, you MAY get 30-50 bux if someone HAS TO have it.

You might find some help here. OBTW there were only 33 million minted in San Francisco.

there is a mint mark just might not be seen in this photo and the coin is struck almost perfectly 50%

You can see it in the photos, that is why I mentioned the quantity for the San Francisco mint (s). Did you contact the web site for value or information?

Go to Heritage coins at >coins.ha.com< Ask them. It is worth $$ in my Opinion. Good Luck!

It's like any error in a coin. The value is in the price in which someone is willing to pay.

This penny you got is called a WHEAT PENNY. This is worth more than one cent. since it's in great condition, I love it.
