My Uncle passed this onto me about 10 years ago after he passed away (along with the mobil oil pegasus glasses in a previous post). It is an original 1936 New York/Manhattan Map.
The map is in tip top shape. I've seen a lot of the old Socony maps - but I haven't seen one out there that is for New York. Very strange that there isn't another one.
All original packaging. As I stated in a previous post, my Uncle was not a collector of many things, but this is one thing he really held dear to his heart.
I would love to know more about these collectors items if anyone has any knowledge.
Thanks.
