I have been an avid metal detectorist since the early 1970's, including being past president of a metal detecting club back in Corpus Christi, Texas. I have been a bottle and old dump digger for 40 something years also. I have sold my bottle collection, due to downsizing. I have dug out many old dumps, outhouse pits and cisterns over the years. I have also been a record collector for 45 years, 78's & lp's. I specialized in 30's-40's Big Band, Swing, Blues, Rock-a-Billy, string bands, jug bands, Doo-Wop, acoustic slide guitar, Barrelhouse and 50's Rock. I have since sold my record collection also, due to downsizing, however, I converted all the best stuff to cd. I still hunt constantly for rare records. As you can see from some of my posts, photography is another of my hobbies. I like to photograph things like old, forgotten about, vintage vehicles, buildings, farm machinery, etc. I catalog them and save them to flash drives. Junk yards are some of my favorite places, I can spend hours in them. I love all things retro, especially the 1950's and 1960's look. Well, there you have it. Oh, Yes, I can sit at my computer for hours with my CW friends, while listening to Doo-Wop and 50's rock on Pandora Radio! my contact is cc8183@gmail.com (Read more)
