I would love to know if this is actually a Madame Alexander doll. I can find no identifier marks. She is a walking doll and is 30 inches tall, any information on her would be greatly appreciated it.
Thank you
Paula

Betty Madame Alexander doll would not have been marked Alex on doll many times . Madame Alexander often only put names in their clothes . I would say yes she is a MA doll and not a easy one to find . Patty likely comes from name take off of Patti Playpal
Here is what the 36 in MA doll looks like she is Joanie but look at the similar face .http://www.ebay.com/itm/JANIE-MADAME-ALEXANDER-DOLL-PLAYPAL-DOLL-1959-36-/300646214870?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45ffe92cd6#ht_500wt_1225

Oop I meant to say Betty . Anyway you have a 30 in MA Betty doll :-)
Just was told by a friend that it's a 1960 Madame Alexander Betty Doll and that's it's very rare only being made for 1 year and is valued at $400. YAY!
Most definitely - I had her once and gave her to a good friend. Nice doll!
She is very precious! She is Madame Alexander Betty! 30" and just the sweetest face and expression! Love her original dress too!
