I have never smoked; but for some reason I have a thing for how the past Celebrated smoking!! And this isn't the only ashtray I have. My husband just laughs. I hang this in my living room and nobody guesses it's an ashtry. It has markings on the bottom 'Hand Painted Stangl Trenton, N.J. Granada Gold 4026'. Made in the 1950s. Stangl was an American decor pottery company that is no longer in business. This ashtray is - Massive is 11.5" round and 2" tall. Looking snappy considering it is 60 years ago.
