AR8Jason this one is for you, this is a photo of my parents on their wedding day Oct. 1945. I believe this photo was taken at the Church Manse, they had a studio photo taken when they went to Winnipeg, MB on their honeymoon. No trains in this one!

A wedding is not the dress if a marriage can be as happy as my parents in street clothes and last so long that is what it is all about . I got married in my Grandmothers confirmation dress no train for me either . I wore a 1920's 10 yr old girls dress :-) And the marriage is very good :-)

So true Mani, Mom didn't even pick out her outfit, her soon to be sister in law worked at Eatons in Winnipeg (she is the one in my "Classy Lady" post) so she was able to get a deal for her. Mom & Dad celebrated 65 years together, they invested in their vows not a dress.
      Thanks for the love Beaux

Thanks for the Love & comment Bellin68, there are plenty more from three different family collections. It can be a little overwhelming when you become the unofficial family archivist.
