I need help to date and identify. It measures 3" high and 5" across. Looks like it's made of bronze and has a lot blue patina.

Have you considered that it might be a pedestal for a now-missing bowl?

I agree - My mother had a similar piece from Korea... she always said that it was made to set a flower pot on to keep it off the furniture.
