THIS LAMP WAS IN MY GRANDPARENTS SUMMER COTTAGE WHEN THEY BUILT IT IN THE 1920'S. WHEN MY PARENTS PASSED AWAY I BECAME THE RECIPIENT OF THE LAMP. IT HAD A NUMBER 1315 IN THE BASE. BEYOND THAT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT/WHERE OR WHEN ABOUT THIS LAMP OTHER THEN IT IS GETTING OLD. ANY INFO ANYONE MIGHT PROVIDE WOULD BE HELPFUL.

I have been collecting and following table lamps for over 12 years. I look at antique/vintage lighting on ebay (at least a 100 a day on average) most every day. Total that up for a 12 year period and these eyes have seen oodles of lamps!!
I also own a lot of lamp books. No brag, just trying to validate my opinion. The base is a Miller and the shade is original to the base, no marriage here.
