I think this was part of a game from the 1960s that involved a toy rifle that shot darts, but the only wind-up toy rabbit of this sort I can find is a 1950s version made by Marx. Is this an updated version by the same company or could it be a competitor's version? Thanks!

Oh wow! After reading that, I went to ebay to look for it and found a whole bunch of completed listings for the newer Marx version. The Tarheel "talking" rabbit is definitely in the same mold, but has pink where the Marx version is white and has metal rather than plastic wheels. I wonder which came first. My rabbit doesn't talk either -- wonder what that's all about! ;-)
