    Does anyone have any information about this fishing reel? I cannot find any markings on the reel and have never seen a fishing reel that doesn't have a push button to release the line. Any information would be grealy appreciated. Thanks.

      I also have one, it'seems to be the same reel used for the Spin-Champ rod and reel combo. Of the late '40's, I think. You can find some information searching for that one. These are the only ones I have seen. It is used under the rod, backing the handle will release line for casting.
