not sure what it is

hi i bought this lamp at a auction. i am not sure who made or what type it is. the person who owned it said it was from the 1920's. it stands about 3 1/2 feet has three lights that are coming out of the top and they are bendable. the red bottom around the pole is glass with a figure at the top of it. the base is metal with 1909 on the undersign of the base. i don't know much about lamps so if anyone can help i would great appreciate it thanks stu
