My grandfather worked for Anheuser-Busch for 50+ years. So over time I have aquired some pretty cool and unique Anheuser-Busch items. This item is a 1978 Anheuser-Busch "Race for Space" Scripto butane Desk Lighter. It was a promo item for the "Race for Space" slogan that every advertiser jumped onto around the time Star Wars came out in 1977 along with McDonalds, Burger King etc. I've never seen another one these and I've searched everywhere. If anyone can find anymore info on the lighter I would greatly appreciate it!
