Chinas Comidas (it means 'Chinese food' in Spanish) was a Seattle band in the mid-late 1970s. It was fronted by poet Cynthia Genser, who used to eat at our cafe every so often. One of our sons wore this shirt all through high school in northern California in the mid-2000s. It was one of his favorites for a while, probably because he could be absolutely certain that no one else at school would have one. It's now too fragile to wear.
