This Streamline Moderne range timer was made by the Lux Clock Mfg. Co. for Westinghouse, c. 1930. It would have originally plugged into a vintage range to control the oven. Inset dials to set 'On’ and 'Off' times. It stands about 5½" tall.

Very nice. I have one that I believe is slightly earlier, but it is not in nearly as good condition. My grandfather, a Westinghouse Engineer, purchased it in 1924, when they purchased a new Westinghouse range. It ran and was the main oven timer until it finally died in about 1960, and he replaced it with a Telechron alarm clock that he modified to operate the oven through a relay. When my grandmother died, in 1996, we let the Telechron clock remain with the range, in the house. The young couple who purchased the house are still using it and the Westinghouse range.
