ok i found this ornament in my dads belongings after he died, its really nice . however i have no idea what it is for , hoping someone might be able to identify it for me . it has 2 threaded bolts underneath it

well best i could find by myself was a 48 packard? anyone narrow it down for me a lil bit better?
I am not an expert, however, this appears to be the Packard Swan hood ornament.
A lot of these were made 'aftermarket' also so it may not be an original Packard swan but more something akin to a Packard Swan.
