This is a Helbros Men's Watch, 17 Jewel, according to the tag. As you can see from the photo, I still have the original box it came in. All the stones are there, but somethings going on with the stones on the outside bars. I cleaned it up a little with toothpaste and it looks much better, but I thought perhaps a jeweler might do better a better job.
I'm looking for any information on this watch, I tried to look up the number on the tag to no avail. I'd like an estimation on it's age, and if it's of any monetary value. I still wear it, it belonged to my great grandfather who was a barber. He spent a lot of money in his day for something flashy he wanted people to see. I reckon he'd be pleased to know people are still seeing it all these years later, and that it still keeps proper time.
