Little Plates or saucers I picked up a while back. Not sure if they are antique but there are no identifier marks on them. The patterns are different. Pretty neat, need some help Identifying.

Yeah, I they look like they are newer just wanted a little history or idea of what they were. run across a lot of stuff in my travels so trying to develop an eye for things I can collect vs sell or just plain stay away from.

Thanks for the insight on these. Really like these, designs that differ from one another. Makes you think of the time someone put into these to create them. Makes em a little more unique. Plus they fit in the jewelry pox for safe keeping.

Hi, I have one of these, bird at the center of leaves & flowers on a vine, no color. Diameter is 3 1/8 " x 7/16" . Heavy wall, .062", non uniform lathe turnng marks on the base and side walls. Depression at the center on both sides, just like yours. No indication of origin, but almost certainly India. Base is convex inside, concave on the outside. Design appears to be engraved rather than stamped. Curious manufacturing technique. I have had this since 1970, it has patina and some discoloration original to that time. I would place the age as a minimum to 1950. Are the dimensions on yours the same as mine? Regards, Jim

Can also see the lathe marks on the backs of these. The O.D. is 2 1/2 " Wall thickness is .04". The Flat part is 2 1/2 in diameter. The designs are similar upon first look but they are different. There are very cool details in these.

    Hi Treasures

These plates are called Benares Brass from the holy city of Benares in the Varonasi regions of India. They were famed for their brass ware painted in enamels which is what you have here
