love it ! Wow stunning
thank you! i got it in the mail today, i was pleasantly surprised how beautiful it was. its in perfect condition. i only paid forty dollars for it, which was a bargain, all the other erte' scarves were going for hundreds. it is a beautiful scarf indeed, so happy i could add it to my collection of art deco things.
Is it large enough to wear over shoulders ? You did get a great buy . My taste in clothes for sure !
actually yes- it is a big scarf , its not a little item
its 33" squared. i was really impressed. its signed and with a erte' tag also. you could almost frame this beautiful scarve! beautiful piece of clothing art.
I saw one framed with a hefty price tag ! I would frame it and never wear it . To beautiful to let anything happened to it and be sure and mat it so glass isn't on scarf . Love love it
I wonder when it was produced, maybe 1980's, I remember being at Erte's gallery opening in 1983 at a gallery in NYC, he also had the statue that he only started producing in the 1980's, before that he only did art, not statues. The girl with the leapard. was one of the collection of statues. Phil.
i saw them on ebay framed for hundreds of dollars. i wonder if on the scarf tag it says the date. i love erte's stuff, i only began looking at his stuff a couple of weeks ago.
i was thinking of framing it. too pretty to wear. i didnt get it to wear anyhow, i got it to look at and enjoy, which i do.
the tag doesnt say the date . just says made in italy
From Phil: saw this on live auctioneers coming up :
