I found this Admiral Radio, Model PR 79, in it's original box. The box also contains the original 9 volt Admiral battery and all paperwork pertaining to it. It's looks as though a battery has never been installed and perhaps its never even been turned on.

Very nice find!
One of the biggest disappointments is to find a great old transistor radio and to find somebody left batteries in it and they leaked over the years and ruined it.
