Hello, the glaze is called celedon and the shape is based (at least) on a yellowish-green glazed jar with four rings from the latter half of the sixth century A.D. unearthed at Puyang, Honan in 1958. The marks on the base are not dynastic, probably apocryphal. Regards, Jim
Hello jwendell222 How do you know that it was unearthed in 1958? I'm alittle confused do you think this is a replica? or is this worth something?
Hi, your jar was not unearthed in 1958. It's SHAPE is based on one that was. Yours is likely late 20th century.
oh lol thank you.
