This portrait of Curtis Dwight Wilbur, the 43rd Secretary of the U. S. Navy, was painted by Dorsey (Edwin) Doniphan. It has been provided to us by the great courtesy of the Head Curator of the U. S. Navy Art Collection. I am listing it here as a Show and Tell item in order to present an image of this painting, which is relevant to a proper treatment of the Dorsey Doniphan portrait of a little girl currently under discussion at the "Collectors Weekly" Show and Tell item linked referenced here: www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/51817-dorsey-doniphan-painting

We hope that you will examine the new photos that hellokitty6811 has uploaded to photobucket, as the new photos better exhibit the painting's excellence. photobucket.com/DorseyDoniphaPainting?albumview=slideshow&track=share_email_album_view_click

    Thank you very much!

    Regards, miKKoChristmas11
