i took these (2) perfume bottles as collateral on a loan. then the guy disappeared. did i get ripped off?
i was told that the bottles were hand made in venice. there are no markings anywhere but they are in great condition. he also said that were worth a couple of hundred dollars apiece.
he had a wife and a newborn, so even if they aren't worth anything, i tried.
any information will be appreciated.

Very pretty bottles. You could do some research on Judith Miller - glass/perfume bottles Books. She writes books about Glass and perfume bottles turn up in her Antiques books.
Another person who may be able to identify them is Ken Loach - from Perfume Auctions. you could type in "Perfume Bottle Auctions" Ken Loach and email him. He is quite helpful.
