In this record, RCA AFL1-2428, the black vinyl is the scarce one, only 25,000 reportedly pressed, worth several hundred dollars in NM condition.
You have some very nice records. Are they in poly bags? If not, they really should be.
Yes! Everything is Poly'd insie and out.. The important ones Heavy duty poly.
Great! I am glad to see that you appreciate and take care of your records. Do you have any Elvis 45's on the Sun label? 209, 210, 215, 217, 223.
Only boots; and the complete set of colored Vinyl 78's
lp's or 78's? lp's are pressed vinyl and 78's are cut shellac.
Actually most 78's are a formula of 25% shellac, a filler of a cotton compound, powdered slate, and a small amount of a wax lubricant.
The sun repos are pressed Vinyl; although I had a 45 collection of over 2000 45's I have traded mst of them away for Elvis stuff. I only have about 500 45's left of non Elvis stuff along with several hundred lps.
