This item was found at the end of the day at an estate sale for $1. I did not notice the Indian logo until I was setting it down-Then picking it back up.

That is from a set of car shock absorbers, you are missing a bracket and the other 3. Hope that helps.

This is part of a 1920s Indian Motorcycle sidecar shock absorber. I have 4 complete ones and trying to find there value.

If it is for a sidecar why are there 4 in the sets we have. Mine are in the original box of 4.

I don't know the answer, google images, Indian motorcycle sidecar shock absorber. (maybe we have them for two sidecars) :-)

Google images Indian motocycle sidecar. Look closely and on some you will see two on each side of the car before it connects to the cycle.

Yes that makes perfect sense, 2 per side. Thanks. It really didn't make sense that they were for a car, DUH. I never even thought about a side car. Now I see why my father got them, he had a sidecar for his 1948 Indian. He sold that indian without the sidecar to Brian Setzer of the Stray Cats now the Brian Setzer Orchestra. Thanks again.
