I have had this for many years and have been afraid (somewhat, anyway) to use it on a regular basis. Ive tried to locate a similar style opener online to get some information, but have been unable to find one.
It appears to be made of brass. The picture on the front looks like its made up of glass and porcelain. Anybody know anything about it? Is it rare? Should I put this thing in my safety deposit box or can I just toss it the kitchen drawer?
