Nice older basket, woven by a member of the Seminole Tribe. It is 8 inches high, and at the widest point in the middle it is 11 inches in diameter. It was probably woven sometime around the 1910's, judging by the patina. They are made with Sweet Grass and Palmetto, and are sometimes dyed. But this one is natural colors. Enjoy the pics.
