As you can see, the end is shaped like a fishtail and was, therefore, very hard to remove from the old, non-used, but standing pole. The head of this has a strange, 8 pointed star look to it. It came from downtown Erie, PA a few blocks south of the Lake shore.
From the corrosion under the head it is plain to see it was there a long time - sticking partway out.
Any ideas?
