Hi. I just received this lamp from my 83 year old mother who said she got it when she was young and it was old then. It weighs 40-50 pounds. A lot of the enamel has come off...I imagine it can be restored but I don't even know how to get started on that. The silk lamp shade is shredded, but the frame seems OK so I think I can get that corrected no problem. Some questions...what do you think it is worth as it sits? Would I negatively affect value if I had it restored? Are these typically enameled? Have you ever seen one before...I haven't. Thanks!!!
