Very old, flowery design all over the front, bronze, no description by who made it or anything, on the back it has in big letters IKE, like it was made for that person, sounds like maybe a president by those famous initials? IKE

This looks like a sarna (sp?) brass top of a coffee table. My mother had one which looks very much like this. I think my sister still has it. There is a wooden folding base that it sits on. I can have her look underneath to see any marks. I don't think it is "very old."

These were quite popular in my CZ days (60s and early 70s). Almost every one of my mom and dad's circle had one of these coffee tables. I still remember Maria polishing the darn thing, and the smell of brasso in the kitchen.

Maybe it is not Sarna brass. Could be Morroccan. Take a look at this link. Waiting to hear from my sister, but this looks identical to the one we had.
