My first antique (I think)

I've had this for years and never tried to find anything out about it. I think I've managed to identify it as Rosenthal but have no idea what it actually is or how old etc or what it is worth (if anything). Its been sat on a shelf in a cupboard for years. Any suggestions would be gratefully received or a pointer in the right direction to find out more would be great.
