I heard that this is a rare bike. But I cant find any for sale on the web. How much is it worth?

Oh, Im pretty sure everything is original (except probably the tires) Everything seems consistent with the few pictures of parts and other Stelber bikes I have seen.
I've been into bikes for quite a while and that's the first one I've seen. I would guess it's late 50s or early 60s. You might try putting it on the CABE (Classic Antique Bike Exchange) forum, someone there should be able to give more info.
I spent some time this evening straigthening the fenders on the bike so it can be ridden. While I had the back wheel off, hy husband read the walls of the tire and found that it said sears allstate premium tires on the back only. the front was a different brand. Maybe the back is the original tire....
