Debeze
(1 item)
I found this Montgomery Ward Silver Coin that says one-half Troy Ounce & .999 Fine Silver on one side and Treasure Quest on the other.
I've been surfing the web all morning and cannot find any information on it as to it's value. Is it worth more as a collectable or cash in for silver? Or does anyone know a collector of memorabilia that may be able to help me.
Thanks

Silver is over $29 dollars an oz. But it is a collectable! Even Being a half oz, I can see this goin for maybe $25. IMO
Thanks so much for your help. I guess I'm on the right track because the jewler/gold/silver dealer said he'd give me $30 for it, but for the silver not as a collectable. I'd rather it go as a collectable so if you know of one in the Dallas/Fort Worth area please let me know. Debbie
Just remember Debeze. Even if U sold it to a collector, It might be melted down anyway. It's not a Rare collectable. $30 was a good price! As a collectable or in the melting pot! Sheeesh, he is givin U Full price for 1oz silver, & this is only Half oz!!! Go for it!
Thanks again. Now I can "go for it" and not be concerned about making a bad decision.
Of course you can.... I would take $30 in a min, & walk away Happy!!! It wasn't but 3 months ago silver was only $20 an oz!
