I recently found this chair behind a dumpster (what a lucky find!). I am considering refinishing it and creating a new cushion, but wanted to know more about the chair and its style first. I believe it fits in the Renaissance Revival category. I'm unable to find much information about the company that manufactured the chair.
Any information or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Nice dumpster find. I have a telephone table I'm doing the same thing too. Giving it away as a Christmas gift.
I wouldn't refinish it until you find the value because that takes away from the original way it is . I put in savonorola on google and chairs on e bay came up and the prices vary . in Ma. they have free appraisals on Tuesday at an auction place , maybe in your area they have one
