I am a baby boomer and I had this doll add a child. It had little blonde tufts of hair that are now missing (thought of asking my hairdresser to save me some!). Other than that I know nothing about it..how old it is r who made it. It winds up and crawls. I have only seen one other one at an antique show that was selling for $120.so maybe it is rate....any information would be greatly appreciated.

There were many factories producing these and to narrow down which one made her /him would be hard with no markings on doll . if it is unmarked I would inclined to say USA made although it looks Japan but by law they would have to mark it someplace any imports during this time we required to mark country of origin that were imported into USA . It could just be a tiny logo mark on doll . Very cute !!!!!
Oh, I've never seen one of these! How delightful. And I love his face.
