Hi,
I just purchased these chairs from a neighbor who had them at a garage sale. I also got a table. I'm not sure what these chairs are. I'm thinking mid-century but I don't know anything about mid century even though I love mid century. The sticker on the bottom says that the materials were made by American TV and Radio company in Arkansas? There is a stamp on all of them, L.R. and then some numbers. I'm assuming that they are from 1966. Does anyone know anything about the maker and what kind of wood these are? I'm positive they are not teak. They were stained. I am thinking oak or maybe even walnut? They are solid wood and weigh a ton. Can anyone help me find some history behind these chairs?
