I would love to find out more about this lamp...my grandmother had it who gave it to my mother and as it turns out, I now have it...we used to love it as kids, we called it the Genie Lamp and would rub it and make a wish....

You have a very good piece. I can't tell from pix who made it. Look to see if it is marked. It is in the style of Vienna Bronze lamps.
Here are some links to learn more.

Thank you so much for the information MsDowAntiques....I am going to take a look the minute I get home for any marking....I wonder what something like this is worth? Although, can it ever be enough for the fond memories that come with it?
Hi again...I have not been able to find any markings....is that a bad thing? Is there a certain place I should be looking? Thanks for all of your help! I truly appreciate it!
Check out the Collectors Weekly LAMPS page for links to clubs and dealers who will have far more info and experience than I do. Of course there's no price on sentimental value, but it can't hurt to learn more about who and when your treasure was made. Good luck!
