This is a great accordion folding camera. It's a Kodak Pocket camera No. 1, Series 2. I found it for a great price, 22 bucks. I love the accordion style folding cameras, and I especially love the gothic Kodak font on the "kickstand." I believe these went into production in 1922 and continued until 1931, an incredibly long manufacturing life in comparison to technologies of today. The seller told me the person he bought it from bought it in 1936.
According to my database of Kodak catalogues (spanning the years of 1886 to 1941), you have a No.1A Pocket Kodak (not a Series II or 2) with the Autographic feature (the silvery stylus thingie on the side of the front). No.1A also appears on the camera's badge under the lens. The No.1A is listed in catalogues from 1927 through 1931. The old style font lettering is present from 1927 to 1929. The latter years had a deco styled font. Your camera (with the Kodex Shutter and Kodar Lens f.7.9) sold for $13.00 in 1927. By 1929, the price had increased to $15.00.
Wow! Thanks for the research! I found my info mostly based on some photos of cameras that appeared to be the same. I guess they either weren't the same or were incorrectly identified.
