I have a different style of Lee Reynolds. It it double framed, and it looks like a cross between Southwestern & Hippy Butterfly Rainbow Peace & Love. On the back there is number 2922 with the name of Linda, along with the Vanguard Studios sticker. It measures approx 27" wide x 33" high.
I wonder if Linda was the painter of this.
Is this a butterfly or a dragonfly?
It is signed Lee Reynolds on the front bottom left.
There is a small amount of mixed media on this, that being the gold colored paper sections in the butterfly wings, and the sun. The back border is a burlap type textile, and then there looks to be some kind of clay fill - which was striated, around the sections by the butterfly. This area seems to be discolored a little bit.
Would anyone know when this could have been made, or it they have seen another like this. Any guesses on the name of this painting?
There seems to be some plastic flower or leaf pieces applied to the upper right corner of picture too. Definately one of the wierdest, oddest Reynolds I have ever come across.
Thank you for any help:-))

Today I found the painting that was made from the same artist on ebay. The number on that one is 2923. I think these two should find a good home
together:-)
