I bought these at a garage sale a couple of years ago, along with some cameras. I'm not really a collector of any of these but since the guy wanted 5$ for all cameras and the lenses I figured what the ----! These say Germany on them.

Can you print out the raised lettering on the plastic lens holders. I can only make out some portions and Filter Lens.
Hi Mustangtony,
Ok .. I will do that! look for the post tomorrow, they are up at the barn... I'm not hauling --- up there now.
If I can edit it on computer ... I'll post it sooner!
These appear to be filters that fit over the camera lens. What kind of camera did you acquire? As background, color filters are used with B&W film. They alter the image in interesting ways. For instance, the yellow filter moderately darkens blue skies resulting in an increased contrast with clouds. Red filters significantly darken blue skies. A green filter will brighten foliage and add depth & contrast if shadows are present. And so forth.
I will post cameras! Sometimes I just don't have enough to write about to complete a post... so I just ramble!
