This is from the collection of my mother in law. She said her Aunt used to work for Canada Dry, and she believes it was a promotional doll. Does anyone know if this is correct? Face is plastic and body is cloth...Stands approx. 3 ft

This is a common mask face doll and they were sold and dressed by many companies and also you could make your own , the mask face came with pattern . hard to say but a Company may have used her for a give away gift . She is dressed a bit like Christmas and I would think if they wanted to use her as a promotion they would would have stamped her shirt Canada dry . Just don't know but I do know often were used as giveaways and also carnivals . very cute
Thanks again, Manikin! I, too, was thinking carnival doll. There's no markings on her anywhere so I can't tie her back to Canada Dry. The only link is the Aunt worked there.
