I collect anything related to the College in Chickasha, OK. From 1908 to 65 it was a women college. I was contacted by a yard sell enthusiast in a neighboring town asking if I was interested in a box of negatives. I couldn't have been more excited. This is just 4 of the more than 65 negatives I received. These were taken between '51-'52, the funny ones were taken at the Frosh/Soph Carnival.

Can you tell me more about the Ned Brace photo? He is a legend and several museums have been on the lookout for his stuff for sometime. I haven't the woman with a snake. I hate photos and everything else Chickasha 1908 forward.

Thank you for the welcome, so the snake lady was after Statehood?

Thank you, those sound so interesting. Everyone mentioned on the Ned card are local legends.

I was thinking it would be worth somewhere North of $200. so I think their figure is fairly accurate. I am more involved with other museums around me but I did hear the curator of the Kiowa Museum & NAGPRA Program or someone mention that name sometime ago as someone who she wanted more information and such on.

If you ever find anything related to the College in Chickasha I would be happy to make you an offer, preserving the College/University's history is my passion.
