This is a Whitefriars ribbon trail bowl designed by Tom Hill in 1935. This is a rarer 2 colour ribbon trail in Sea Green and Blue. It's a big one at about 14 inches across.
I thought I should say the ribbon trail pattern was designed by Barnaby Powell, and Tom Hill was one of the factory glass blowers who came up with this shape. To me ribbon trail is a classic Whitefriars signature pattern.
It came from an antiques centre full of rubbish and I walked off with the only treasure. Well it was the only treasure to me.
