I bought this at a yard sale and would like to know if its an original?
I have researched it and have found one similar that sold for over $30,000.
Can anyone tell by looking at the pictures if it's the real thing??
Any help would be appreciated!

The only thing that bothers me is the back, it looks very new for age. They do make canvas repros as seen here. http://reisserbilder.at/en/index.asp?aid=1702
Here is another real piece, http://www.artvalue.com/auctionresult--schrimpf-georg-1889-1938-germa-ufer-bei-diessen-am-ammersee-1974857.htm
Thanks Dave, its not on canvas, its on what I believe is cardboard.
It has older rusty nails holding the cardboard in place, the rust has bled through the paper backing. I sent pictures to the auction house in Germany that sold the similar piece.
Thats Good, artist board is the medium from that era. Its hard to see any of that in pics. That is your best bet, sending pics to German site. Dave
Thanks again!
