My bear is 24 inches long. His head arms and legs move. Painted glass eyes. Perfect condition except the tag I can only read Cha in the tip of the right ear. If anyone knows anything about this bear please let me know.

1950's appx teddy bear made by I believe your tag would indicate The Character Novelty Company was established in Norwalk Connecticut in 1932 and it closed in 1983 when the last of the original two founders passed away. They were very popular in the New York area. The tag on yours would appear to be similar to the tags from the 1950's . Hope that helps!
