I'm glad to hear he was so nice. :) Where and when did you meet him? Friends of my father met him as well and said that he was the nicest, most gentlemanly famous individual they'd met.
Met him in 1979 with Ronald Reagan at a fund-raiser - both of those guys were hilarious joke-makers.
