This is a triple neck ring decanter circa.1810.
I have been trying to work out the best way of lighting my stuff when photographing them. So I have photographed this decanter 4 ways. Light from the normal lights in the room, light from a window in the ceiling. A mixture of natural light and spot lights, or just spotlights. Or should I just splash out on a light box and do it properly. Currently my studio is a sheet from a roll of white paper blue tacked to the wall and draping onto the top of a cabinet.
